When there is need to find a person behind a phone number, earlier you would have had to hire a private investigator and spend hundreds of dollars. Things have changed now and with the advanced technology, several tools to help us find what we are looking for have been created.   One such tool is the reverse phone number search, which is extremely easy to use and furnishes instant within-seconds results, which no private investigator can.

People look for people online all the time, using their phone numbers.  If you have lost touch with a once close friend and you have an old phone number, you can do a reverse phone number search and find the person.  There may be someone harassing you by calling your number and talking rubbish or it could be blank calls, and you would certainly want to put a stop to whoever is creating this nuisance.  These and many more reasons are when you would ideally hire a private investigator if you can afford it.  The private investigator would then take the phone numbers from you and with the help of the phone number, trace the people.

What if you could do this yourself without having to spend all those hundreds or thousands of dollars?

It was in the past that only private investigators could do this job of checking out people and finding information.  We would never have been able to do anything of this sort prior to the advent of the reverse phone number search.

With just a fraction of the price that is paid to a private investigator, we can get all the details of people we are looking for and perhaps even more than what a private investigator can and that too instantly.

You would be surprised to know that the private investigators that do your work for you, use these reverse phone number search directories and obtain the information and charge you thousands of dollars where they have paid a few dollars.

How Are Cell Phones Different From Landlines PDF Print E-mail

Graham Bell has given us the best gift of all – a telephone.  This small instrument rules our lives and we cannot live without one.  The advent of cell phones made life easier, with every member of a family owning one.

How do people see it in comparison with the landline phone?  What attracts people to cell phones?

Landlines phones are phones that remain fixed and plugged in one place; whereas cell phones are mobile and you can use them from anywhere.  Earlier, people only had landlines but with the convenience offered by cell phones, more and more people are showing their preference to cell phones, with many people only having cell phone with no landlines.

Is this change good?

There are several factors like the cell phones being more expensive than the landlines but landlines fix you to one place and do not give the freedom cell phones give.   There are cordless phones that work within a specific area but they are definitely not the same as cell phones.  Cell phones can do everything that a landline does and more, including call waiting and three way calling.  Cell phones have many additional advantages such as linking to email and accessing internet over the cell phone.  Although, landlines may not be able to compete with these features, they are great in emergencies, when your cell phone may need to be charged but your landline works.

If you are making a decision between a landline and a cell phone, look at the rates and the features offered in a cell phone.  Look at all the plans available.  You will need to look into your own needs, when deciding.  If you travel a lot and need, a cell phone is your best bet.  Even otherwise, with cell phones becoming cheaper and providing all those features, a landline cannot be compared to a cell phone.
